How Do I Connect This Data to Tenzo?
Appetize can be connected directly inside the Tenzo app using your Appetize API Key, along with the first date you had sales in Appetize.
If you have an Enterprise Account, you can talk to your Customer Success Manager, who will connect this for you.
How Do I Compare Appetize Data to Data in Tenzo?
Compare against your Appetize sales reporting for the same date range and venue. Net and gross sales, item quantities, and payments by tender should all reconcile.
A few differences are expected by design. Tenzo dates every order by its end time, so orders that run across midnight are counted on the day they finished. Guest counts in Tenzo always equal the number of tickets, because Appetize does not send a cover count — so average spend per head reads as average spend per ticket. Discounts applied to a whole order rather than to a line item are not included, and service charges are not reported separately.
