Guide: Just Eat

How do core concepts map to Tenzo?

Key: ✅ Supported   🚸 Work in Progress   ❌ Not supported

Just Eat
Location ✅ Restaurant (matched on restaurant name)
Delivery Order ✅ Orders file
Delivery Order Issue ✅ Refund columns on the orders file
Delivery Availability ✅ Offline file
Review ✅ Customer rating columns on the orders file
Commission & payout ❌ Not included in this feed

Just Eat orders usually reach Tenzo twice. Your till already records them as sales, so this integration does not import revenue again. It brings in the things only Just Eat knows: how long you were online, which orders were refunded and why, how long the kitchen took, and what customers said. The Delivery GMV metric exists to put refunds and rates in context — it is not a sales figure and should not be added to your net sales.

Data Ingestion

Real-time optionally available? ❌
Default polling frequency Just Eat uploads two files to Tenzo via SFTP; Tenzo checks for new files every 20 minutes
Data retrieved on each poll Whatever has been uploaded since the last check
Historical data As far back as Just Eat is willing to send

Requirements

Tenzo generates an SFTP username, password and folder for you during setup. Pass these to your Just Eat account manager and ask them to schedule two files into that folder:

  • an orders file — one row per order, including the refund and customer rating columns;
  • an offline file — one row per restaurant per hour, with opening minutes and offline minutes.

Both files must include restaurant_name, and the orders file must include order_date while the offline file must include date. Tenzo uses these to attribute each row to a site and a day.

What you will see in Tenzo

  • Online time — the share of your scheduled trading hours you were actually accepting orders. Just Eat reports separately when it took you offline because it had no drivers available, and Tenzo keeps that apart so it does not count against your site.
  • Inaccuracy rate — the share of completed orders refunded for an accuracy reason, such as a missing item.
  • Delivery rating — your Just Eat customer rating, which appears in the Reviews module under the JustEat source alongside your other review platforms.

How do I compare data to data in Tenzo?

In Just Eat Partner Centre, open Reports and compare the order count for a restaurant and date range against the Delivery Orders metric in Tenzo.

For downtime, compare Partner Centre's offline time against Tenzo's Delivery Offline Minutes, and check Delivery Offline Minutes (Platform) for the portion Just Eat attributed to driver availability.

Exceptions

Just Eat identifies restaurants by name rather than by an ID, because the store ID column arrives empty. If a restaurant is renamed in Just Eat, tell your Tenzo CSM so the new name can be reattached to the same site — otherwise its history and its new data will appear separately.

Where an order had several refunded items, Tenzo records one issue for the order rather than one per item, so the order counts once toward the inaccuracy rate.
